Self Project. I love football. The advertisements from Nike Football in the early 2000’s have stuck with me until this day. I wanted to illustrate my favourite boot from that era (Mercurial Vapor 2 Gold) and then animate an advertisement in a similar style in which the ILOVEDUST studio currently create the advertisements.
I created the illustration for the boot as realistic as possible using a range of different techniques. I then created multiple background designs that would all work individually as posters.
I then used different effects to bring the boot to modern life!
